Glass Polishing – Removing Scratches and Restoring Shine to Surfaces
Glass surfaces lose their clarity over time. Scratches, deposits, or improper cleaning methods can make the glass appear dull and unattractive. However, with the right technique, many of these issues can be resolved. Glass polishing is an effective method to remove scratches and restore the original shine.
Whether it’s windows, glass doors, display cases, or shower walls – our professional glass polishing ensures perfect clarity.

Why Glass Polishing Makes Sense
• Small scratches disappear completely
• The shine of the glass surface is visibly improved
• Expensive glass replacements are no longer necessary
• The process is gentle and sustainable
We work with various types of glass such as tempered glass (ESG), laminated safety glass (VSG), and float glass. Glass polishing is suitable for private households, businesses, and public institutions. We most frequently polish glass on windows, shower partitions, glass doors, or conservatories.
The Glass Polishing Process
Before we begin polishing the glass, the surface is thoroughly cleaned. Residues such as grease, dirt, or old cleaning agents must be completely removed. Only then can the polish work effectively.
Depending on the type of damage, we use either a liquid or powder-based glass polish. This is applied mechanically using a polishing felt. With circular movements and consistent pressure, we gently remove a minimal layer of the damaged surface. Afterwards, the glass is thoroughly cleaned and finished with a soft cloth.
The result is a clear, shiny glass surface with no visible scratches.
How glass restoration works in 4 steps:

1. Roughening, coarse grinding
In the first step, deep scratches, etching, or melting marks are broadly removed through controlled roughening.

2. Glass preparation

3. Fine grinding

4. Polishing and deep cleaning
Tips for Care After Glass Polishing
To keep your glass surfaces looking great for a long time after polishing, we recommend:
• Use only soft, clean cloths
• Avoid sponges with rough surfaces
• Use mild cleaning agents
• Clean only when dirt is completely removed
• Avoid using newspaper when cleaning windows
These simple measures help protect your glass surfaces from new scratches.
