Our Mission
Glass is often replaced far too quickly these days. We want our service to contribute to a more sustainable world. Our unique glass restoration technique can repair even profound or complex damage to your glass. Quality always takes top priority for our company and highly-trained teams.
March 2016 – Glass Doc AG founded in Switzerland, based in Zurich
October 2016 – Glass Doc GmbH founded in Germany, based in Munich
February 2017 – Glass Doc s.r.o founded in the Czech Republic, based near Pilsen
June 2017 – Exhibitor in the Spreitenbach Umwelt Arena, flying the flag for sustainability in construction. Go green: repair, don’t replace.
August 2017 – Glass Doc AG Switzerland: subsidiary founded in Swiss Romandy
June 2018 – Promotional film produced; increase in staff to 25 employees.
September 2018 – All companies rebranded to GLASSRESQ, due to internationalisation; creating a unique selling point and differentiation from Handy Doc, car windscreen repairs, etc.; market access to America, initially for individual projects in the New York area.
1 Jan 2019 – Partnership with 17-year-old AXIS Project GmbH in Germany: comprehensive surface restoration service for new buildings, renovations, yachts, etc.
1 Feb 2019 – Partner company AXIS Project GmbH founded in Switzerland.
March 2019 – Acquisition of vetrox Austria and foundation of GLASSRESQ GmbH Austria, based in Vienna.
June 2019 – GLASSRESQ AG and AXIS Project GmbH: extension to warehousing, plants and training facilities in Wollerau, Swiss canton Schwyz.
November 2019 – EASYWRAP surface spray protection technology developed in collaboration with Dr Lüchinger from ETH ; EASYWRAP GmbH founded, based in Zurich
January 2020 – Staff increased to 60 employees
Relocation of GLASSRESQ AG headquarters and opening of warehouse and workshop premises. Webereistrasse 56 (office) and 60 (warehouse) in 8134 Adliswil
Glassresq has been part of Polygon Schweiz AG, a leading provider of damage repair services in Europe, since March 2024.
